New Scene
In the main communal space under the pub, Raven had cleared an area with Karla to allow them to spar. They couldn't really risk doing it outside on most nights and she still worried they might break something in the pub if they cleared the floor up there after close so.. this was just a better set-up.
Now that the space was set up, she hung up her trench and started to remove the many weapons she carried. Unlike that first night in the pub it was different now. They were pack and she wasn't worried about treachery from her sister or packmates. After all they put up with the nightmares that woke her every evening with a muffled yell or scream and a mad scrambling to get away or whimpers of pain mixed with pleas to save her. Usually Aleksy or Denna's voice snapped her right out of it, every once in a while it was a matter of waiting a few moments and she snapped out of it on her own. She'd been embarrassed at first but that was fading slowly.
The last weapon it the shelf where she'd layered the blades and belts before she turned back to smile at Karla. "Right then.. any rules or concerns?"

Karla seemed to also take enough time to prepare the terrain and herself. She had taken off her leather jacket and had began wrapping bandages around both of her arms, as if getting ready for a boxing match. It was rather obvious as Raven looked at her, that her left shoulder was bandaged.
"Depends - are we going all out?" the Brujah asked in a serious tone although the smirk on her lips could certify that she was looking forward to this. "If we are then I demand the safe word be pancake." she chuckled as she cracked her neck and rolled back her shoulders. Her left shoulder was clearly stiffer and she made a face as it rolled back with a light crack but said nothing and simply brought her guard up.

Raven chuckled at the offered safe word and nodded. "All out.. I'm good with that and pancake it is. What happened to your shoulder?" The last was asked as she squared up with Karla and nodded her head towards the bandage.
Once it seemed like they were both set, she motioned towards Karla to 'come on'. She still had a smile on her lips though, she was looking forward to this as much as Karla was.

For a moment there was a confused look on Karla's face before she looked down and clearly remembered that she did have an injured shoulder. Her expression darkened only briefly and she mumbled a noncomittal "Don't worry about it." before preparing to face Raven properly.
Raven could almost see her gearing up. And just like that, she began to move fast, attempting punches and jabs from different angles at her packmate. Her hits were precise but there was quite a lot of force to them judging by the way she swung. Anything that hit true was going to sting.

Raven knew those blows would sting and possibly break bones and so she had no intention of letting many land.. but intentions don't always equal results. Still she didn't balk but rather stepped right in to the fight.

From the very beginning it became apparent that the fight would not be easy on either of the two participants. Whilst Karla's speed allowed her to throw more blows and land a large amount of them successfully, Raven seemed to possess not only exceptional reflexes, but also enough resilience to ignore most of the pain of the blows that did strike true.
To both women fighting it seemed as though the fight lasted a lifetime, with both of them being unable to take their opponent down in a quick series of strikes. It appeared as though Karla's tactic was to take as much punishment as she could withstand before attempting to heal herself, whilst Raven struck vulnerable joints and used Karla's hurt shoulder to her advantage on the couple of occasions that she thought herself cornered.
From Ludźmiła's standing point, the heated battle lasted approximately half an hour.
As they felt they were nearing their limit, both women changed their tactics to adapt them to the situation - Karla began to fling Raven away from her more often, causing her to crash against the walls of the basement, whilst Raven managed to disappear a couple of times, when both Ludź and Karla were not focusing on her and reappeared just in time to strike the Brute when she least expected it.
At the end, both women shouted Pancake!, nearly in unison and just like that - it was over.
The experience left them both sufficiently hurt and hungry but it wasn't anything that a healthy meal and a good day's sleep could not fix. Karla sat on the floor, laughing as she nursed her shoulder, the largest, most maniacal grin on her face, as she regarded Raven, making sure she was doing alright.

Raven crouched, despite the sting in her legs from more than a few kicks and blows, and leaned back against a wall. Sitting flat just wasn't comfortable thanks to the wings. She had a huge grin herself and her eyes seemed far brighter and more alive than normal. "You hit like you're holding bricks.." It was obviously a compliment. "Thank you, I so needed that.."
She glanced over at Ludzmila and offered her a wave with a very bruised and possibly broken hand. "Did you enjoy, little Sister?"

Karla nodded with a wide grin. "And you are one slippery angel to get a hold of." she chuckled. "I see I won't have to badger Aleksy to spar with me any time soon. If you're happy to make this a regular thing, that is." The Brujah made no move to stand, but she released her shoulder, her face contorting in discomfort for the briefest of moments, before she flexed it backward.
"We can always teach you." Karla offered to the young Tzimisce. "I know that some of your clan are great fighters. If I can help, I will."

Ludźmiła's face lit up. It was what she had been hoping for but was to unsure of herself to ask.
Thank you. I would like that!

Raven nodded her own agreement. "Everyone should know how to fight and fight well.. I am betting you will catch on quickly." She rolled her shoulders and carefully stretched out her wings testing her limits and pain level so she knew how rough hunting was going to be but that grin didn't fade. "I'm surprised the others didn't stop to watch as well.."

Karla smiled sincerely. "We can start with the basics now, if you want. Though Raven will probably be a better teacher than me. I rely very heavily on my strength." The Brujah moved to stand up and was obviously in just as much pain as Raven was but clearly refused to acknowledge it.
"We should send out invites next time." Karla chuckled, stretching her arms above her head very slowly, her shoulder clearly a pressure point.

Enthusiastic to start learning a new skill Ludźmiła nodded willingly though slightly wary of further injuring her packmates even knowing that she was likely to come out worse!

Raven stood and then motioned Ludzmila closer to her. [fond color="goldenrod"]"Ok, show me what you know. I will not attack you, I just want you to do what you can to hit me."[/font] This was the easiest way Raven knew to get a good feel for how much of a fighter their little sister already was.
