"Haven't quite had the time for anything note-worthy, but if you insist..." Reaching for his patchy vest, the Creep pulls out what looks like a wooden crossbow, small enough to be concealable but looking like it could deal a fair bit of damage, and offered it to Aleksy for appraisal. "Had to work this thing out of some scraps I found here and there. Good materials are hard to come by, but I've been keeping my eyes open."

Aleksy looked it over, feeling the weight, the balance. Taking a sight down it "Very good." he commends seriously with an appreciative nod "Very nice work. Sometimes the quiet weapon is the best." he hands the crossbow back to Deadhead "But next time you declare such things when you enter a pack's haven. Many would not trust it was a mistake. I will not should it happen again." there is a darkness to those final words that seems to close around the pair, drowning out the stark lighting of the room. "But you should not have to work with scraps. I will bring you some materials when we visit."

Looking into the eyes of Aleksy's Beast, Deadhead could feel an odd shiver within his being. An inhuman one, clutching to his chest. "Reasonable", he spoke, putting the crossbow back in his vest. "I will make sure not to repeat this error. Speaking of work", he said, pointing towards the deactivated weapon he had put on the desk, "may I begin?"

"You may." It was as much an order as an allowance "I look forward to seeing your talent." Aleksy offered with a fatherly smile, it was clear he felt there was talent there, else the Nosferatu would not have this chance. He gestures toward the work bench with an upturned palm.

"Well then", the Creep said, raising his hands to his face, "shouldn't keep you waiting". Deadhead bit off the tips of his long nails, each one, then focused intensely on the blood to regenerate them in the desired, square-like shape. He then laid at the desk, his fingers fidgeting as the weapon was surprisingly quickly disassembled, using his nails as screwdrivers and the like, looking more like efficient mechanical tentacles than fingers, each piece carefully analysed to figure out how exactly the weapon had been disactivated, bending, filling out, scraping or replacing whichever parts were necessary, his force and careful touch manipulating his materials with ease.
Re-assembling the gun, he hands it over to the Ductus. "Test it, if you will. Preferably not on me", he hissed plainly.

Aleksy watched the proceedings with a critical eye, a smile splitting his face as the nails were used. He oversaw the entire proceedings, directing Deadhead to the correct drawer for a firing pin and nodding appreciatively as the Nosferatu deftly dealt with the weapon. He opened a drawer and pulled out a magazine clipping it into place then turned and pointed the gun at a wall. "Come with me." he directed waving a hand to indicate he wished to be followed , only moving when his visitor had stood and fallen into step.
He walked out of the room, shutting and locking the heavy metal door then wanders over to a small makeshift yet serviceable shooting range populated by sheet steel figures. He levels the gun at one, taking sight on it, then stooped slightly to pick up a pair of shooting earplugs "You may wish to do the same." he directed to the pair with him. When they had done so or declined he took a single shot filling the space with a loud CLANG he turns and gives a single sharp nod to his guest.

Raising his wretched body from the desk, the Creep followed silently to wherever the Ductus would take him. When they entered the shooting range, Deadhead declined the offer for the earplugs. "It would be more practical, if unpleasant, to get used to it sooner than later", he spoke, his ears twitching as the room was filled with noise. "So, does my work suit your standards?", he added as Aleksy nodded at him.

Raven followed and before the shot, she simply covered her ears to muffle the sounds so she wasn't deafened and could still follow the conversation easily after. There had been some very interesting things said and the glimpse of Deadheads skill was definitely enlightening. "Nicely done." She commented as the shot showed the gun was once again working.

Aleksy watched Deadhead's lips as he took the earplugs out and set them back down where they had come from "You do very good work." he commended with a smile clapping the Nosferatu on the shoulder with a large calloused paw "Theridiidae must be very proud to have you as a brother." he removes the magazine and ensures nothing is chambered before he passes the gun back to his guest "This is yours now. A man should benefit from the fruits of his labour." his voice was like the peal of a bell declaring a war to be over, there was celebration in his booming tone.

Deadhead let his fingers writhe around the weapon the Ductus had generously offered to him, letting one finger slide over the trigger and - wit a slight pause - pulled it, making sure that the gun wasn't pointed at anyone as he did. Taking a brief moment to gather his thoughts, he lets his bulbous eyes meet the Gangrel's. "Thank you for this gift, Ductus Aleksy Katzoff", the Nosferatu gurgled in a yet reverent tone. "Is there more you would have me do? If not, may I ask something more... personal?"

"You may certainly ask." Aleksy responded with a slight smile and a nod softer than his usual as he regarded his guest.

The Creep held the gun with one hand, slightly lost in thought. "We are the Sabbat, and the war against the ancestors of our kind as well as their minions is what defines us." He rests the gun on his shoulder, looking Aleksy in the eyes. "Of course, that's not all that defines us. We all have our own Beast to battle, and our own weapons against it. I would wish to know, Aleksy Katzoff", he spoke flatly, but with a hint of urgency creeping through his gargled words, "which one is yours."

Aleksy nodded along thoughtfully as Deadhead eloquently laid out the Cainite condition, he meets the creature's eyes when it seeks such entirely unflinching. "As you deduced earlier I am a military man." the Ductus started with clear heartfelt pride in that strong bass voice that filled the room pride enough to stir the heart of any listener. "I fight my beast as all such men do. Through service." indeed there was a palpable aura of devotion to a cause that radiated off of him, near visibly flaring as he spoke. "I serve Przemytnicy Broni as Ductus. I serve the Sword as a sergeant, I serve my brothers and sisters are armourer, I serve God as a Knight. It is through service I hold my beast at bay. I subsume it's wanton desires in my duty to a higher purpose." he looks expectantly at the Nosferatu for comment.

The Nosferatu listened to Aleksy's words carefully, his ears twisting and flinching at his resonant speech. "As I should have expected", Deadhead noted, looking around the room. "I wonder if your pack shares your particular conviction, but it is not my place to be so needlessly... inquisitive." His eyes bulged in an out of their sockets, one after the other, as he turned to Aleksy once more. "More importantly, what if your duties meet in a conflict of interest? You seem more than capable of remaining loyal to your service to the bitter end, Ductus", the Creep croaked, letting his tongue lash between his ghastly maws, "but what happens if you have to choose between one duty and another?" Deadhead asked this question in a relaxed but vigilant manner, figuring that angering the Gangrel is unwise, but if he reaches that particular fault then there is little he could do.

"Life is a ballet of clashing and shifting duties." Aleksy noted as though it were not the creature's precise point. "On all such things there comes a hierarchy. My honour is my soul, my soul is fed through service to a higher cause. When causes clash one must look to a higher power." there was a religious reverence to his mention of a higher power, but his eyes flick neither skywards nor to that heavy stained iron crusader's cross. Whatever power he spoke of he gave no indication it was not earthly.
"Tell me." it was an invitation, but the grandeur of that rich voice like a great gilded ceiling seeming to encompass the whole room made declining feel like a betrayal of his hospitality. "Do you seek your own path? Raven here is a follower also." he gestures to the perfect porcelain angel in the room her stillness almost making her disappear into the room's regiment "We could teach you much of the sacrament of duty." there was that reverence once more, and that unflinching aura of utter devotion to a higher purpose that seemed to radiate off the bluff Gangrel.
